Jeffrey W. Eales

Senior Vice President Asset Management & Leasing

CPM®, CCIM®, Director of Asset Management of Birtcher Anderson & Davis. Mr. Eales directly oversees the transition process of an acquired asset from acquisition into asset management, and he oversees underwriting and due diligence during the acquisition and disposition process. Mr. Eales also assists in management of Birtcher Anderson’s portfolio of mobile home parks throughout California totaling over 4,000 coaches. Mr. Eales has over 29 years of commercial real estate experience in acquisitions, property management, leasing, accounting and due diligence. He has been with the Birtcher family of companies since 1997, serving in multiple capacities within portfolio management, property management and leasing. Prior to joining Birtcher Anderson, Mr. Eales was the Director of Regional Property Management for USAA Realty Company. Mr. Eales is a graduate of Trinity College with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration. He holds Certified Property Manager and Certified Commercial Investment Manager designations, and he is licensed as a California Real Estate Broker.

Jaclyn Karcher

Asset Manager

Jaclyn Karcher joined Davis Partners originally in 2009 and rejoined in 2016. As Asset Manager, Jaclyn works closely with clients and leads a team of Property Managers throughout Orange, Los Angeles and San Diego Counties ensuring client goals are met. Jaclyn is also involved in Capital and Tenant Improvements with projects ranging from $25,000 – $4,000,000.

Jaclyn is a licensed California Real Estate Sales Person. She graduated from The Art Institute of California, Orange County and received a B.S in Culinary Management.

Wendy C. Anderson

Vice President – Asset Management

Ms. Anderson is responsible for asset management of the tenant-in-common-owned properties operated by Birtcher Anderson & Davis or its Affiliates. This includes overseeing the property management, leasing, reporting and investor relations for the portfolio. Ms. Anderson also assists in due diligence review for the acquisition of properties and is actively involved in the Human Resources department. Her background includes nearly 30 years of involvement in the Birtcher family of companies, including several years as an investment analyst and Vice President of Acquisitions for Birtcher Corp., where she was involved in the acquisition of $212 million of real estate throughout the United States for the Damson Birtcher Realty Income Funds. Ms. Anderson is a graduate of Sweet Briar College with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. Ms. Anderson has served on the Board of Directors of the San Juan Capistrano Chamber of Commerce and the Board of Overseers of Sweet Briar College.

Evan J. Hanyak

Vice President

Evan Hanyak currently serves as Vice President of Birtcher Anderson & Davis where he is responsible for the identification, underwriting, due diligence, and closing of property acquisitions.  Additionally, he is responsible for supporting the company’s asset management activity by directing leasing activity throughout its owned and third-party management portfolio.  Evan brings over 14 years of commercial real estate experience to the firm with notable companies including Lee & Associates Commercial Real Estate and Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services.  Evan earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara and has an MBA from the University of Southern California.

James L. Petrilli

Vice President

Mr. Petrilli is directly responsible for risk assessment at both the asset and platform level, with emphasis on compliance, financial reporting and policies and procedures. He additionally oversees all underwriting for acquisitions and debt financing on all transactions. Mr. Petrilli has over 30 years of commercial real estate experience with companies including Calmark and Diversified Shopping Centers. A majority of his career has been spent with the Birtcher family of companies. Mr. Petrilli is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed real estate broker and a graduate of the University of Southern California where he received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

Sam Parsa

Treasurer of Birtcher Anderson & Davis

Mr. Parsa has direct responsibilities in accounting, corporate budgeting and financial analysis for Birtcher Anderson. He has been with Birtcher Anderson in various capacities since 1986, holding various positions including Senior Accountant, Assistant Controller, Division Controller and Corporate Controller. In addition, Mr. Parsa has had responsibility for maintaining Birtcher Anderson’s corporate banking relationships. Prior to joining Birtcher Anderson, Mr. Parsa was the Accounting Supervisor for Alltime Incorporated and was employed by Grabart & Co., a mid-size CPA firm in Anaheim, California. Mr. Parsa earned his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and his Master’s degree in Financial Management from West Coast University in California. Mr. Parsa is licensed as a California Real Estate Broker.

Darren Foster

Manager of Leasing


Darren Foster currently serves as Manager of Leasing of Birtcher Anderson & Davis where he is primarily responsible for directing leasing activity throughout its owned and third-party management portfolio. Additionally, Darren will support the Investment & Development Teams in evaluating new acquisition/development opportunities, partnering with the asset/property management teams to execute property business plans and source new third-party property management assignments.


Mr. Foster has over 16 years of commercial real estate/tech firm experience encompassing acquisition/development, brokerage, equity raising, asset management and business development. Throughout his career, he has been involved in the execution of a broad range of asset transactions, including industrial, office, multifamily, retail, land and CRE notes. Since 2012, he has been involved in over 350 transactions in excess of $1 billion in over 20 states.


Darren previously served as Managing Director at CrowdStreet along with prior tenures at Ten-X Commercial (formerly, Commercial), LNR Property and CMD Real Estate.


Mr. Foster holds a BA in International Relations/Business from the University of Southern California and JD/MBA degrees from Pepperdine University.


He’s also an active member of NAIOP SoCal where he founded the mentorship program, previously chaired the NAIOP SoCal Young Professionals Group Alumni Committee and presently serves on the Sponsorship Committee.
